This extremely gentle, handcrafted soap utilizes organic chamomile and calendula to comfort and soothe irritated or sensitive skin. Certified fair trade shea butter simultaneously moisturizes your skin and helps African tribal women provide for their families. Beneficial and efficient microorganism (EM)® technology is incorporated to create a healthy microbial ecology on the skin. A rich lathering, long lasting bar is created by blending certified organic coconut, palm, olive, and soybean oils. Gentle enough for the most sensitive skin types, including babies.
Ingredients:
Blends of organic (coconut, olive, soybean and palm) oils, sodium hydroxide, distilled water, organic olive oil infused with organic calendula and chamomile, organic shea butter, probiotic lactic acid cultures, fermented extract of organic brown rice (Oryza sativa), rice bran (Oryza sativa), organic kelp (Fucus vesiculosis) and love.

Blooming Lotus' Chamomile Soap not only contains Efficient Microbes (EM)® and Xtra (EM), but the ancient herb Chamomile. The herb chamomile is an anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory herb that is very effective in the treatment of acne, boils, burns, cuts, dermatitis, eczema, insect bites, rashes, irritated and sensitive skin.
Why handcrafted soap?
Blooming Lotus soap is made in small batches using an ancient method called the cold process. This method allows the glycerin to remain in the soap. Glycerin is a humectant, which draws moisture to the skin's surface.
Commercial detergent bars are stripped of their glycerin, which is then sold as a by-product. Many of these bars contain diethyl phthalate and other toxins that are absorbed through the skin and may cause harmful buildup over time. Blooming Lotus soaps are made with pure vegetable oils, essential oils, and distilled water. Herbs, organic and homegrown whenever possible, are utilized for their theraputic properies. All coloring comes from herbs, natural vegetable ingredients or pigments.
Be forewarned, once you've indulged in handcrafted soaps, you'll never want to use a commercial detergent bar again!
