Shipping & Handling and Return Policies
We want you to be satisfied with every purchase you make with us. If you are dissatisfied with a product you ordered from us, we will exchange it or credit your account (excluding shipping charges) within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days you will have to pay for the replacement part and shipping. If you want us to refund your money, there is 20% restocking fee and you will be responsible for the shipping charges.
SCD Probiotics Mother Cultures™, All Seasons Indoor Composter® Kit products, SCD Herbal Probiotics®, SCD Essential Probiotics®, Xtra Immunity®, SCD Bio Ag®, SCD Bio Klean™, SCD SCD ScentGuard™, and SCD Bio LIvestock® products must be unopened.
For multiple shipping addresses, a separate shipping and handling charge will be charged based on the products ordered and the shipping addresses.
Shipping & Rates
Domestic Ground shipping is only available within the 48 continental states. Please allow 5-7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for Standard delivery within the 48 neighboring states. The rates for AK, HI, U.S. Territories, U.S. military installations, and Canada may be different. In effect, shipping rates will vary. SCD Probiotics® uses two different shipping carriers: USPS and FedEx. As such, you may select the delivery option that best suits your needs. Delivery to international addresses is available. Shipping and handling charges for international orders will be calculated by one of our customer service representatives during our pre-specified business hours.

SCD Probiotics offers free ground shipping in the continental United States on any order over $60 placed on scdprobiotics.com. Free shipping will automatically apply to qualifying orders; no code required. Free shipping does not apply to expedited shipping, including Overnight. Customers who wish to choose another shipping method may select that method at checkout and pay the provided amount. Alaska, Hawaii, and all International orders do not qualify for free shipping.

This lid does what a lid should, it closes the top of the composter bucket like, well, like a lid. It seems the same plastic as the original lid - which only lasted about 2 years - so I am not expecting more than 2 years of lidding life from this new lid. But such is the life cycle of the lid. I should note my bucket was not the All Seasons brand but rather the VermiHut version. However, I am sure they all come from the same factory in China and this All Seasons lid fits the VermiHuit bucket just fine. Viva Lid!
Someone gave me a composter, but the lid was missing. I am not impressed with the design of the composter. The lid is hard to loosen and replace. I think a round compost bucket with a twist lid would be easier to manage. The square lid has to be peeled back. I can see why they fail after awhile.
The spout is very close to the ground and only a tiny cup will fit under it, but I don’t really want to have to crouch on the ground to drain the tea. I have the composter on the counter, it I’m not tall enough to easily pull the lid back. This has not been a convenient experiment. I recommend the unit be placed on a surface 1-2 feet off the ground. I don’t have the floor space for another stand.
Much appreciated your sending me a replacement lid. So far it is working much better. Am trying your suggestion to open it where the finger recesses are located on the sides but that is a bit of difficulty. Will hope this lid holds up over time.
Unfortunately, the new lid does not seal and creates quite a smell in our kitchen. Fortunately, customer service is prompt and helpful. The sent a second replacement lid (which also did not seal), and we are seeking a refund now.

I have been doing Bokashi Composting for almost 10 years. The lids to the composter do break every few years and need to be replaced. I used to have to order lids from Australia. I ordered a bunch of replacement lids from SCD and one arrived broken. I contacted customer service and they quickly sent out another. Very happy with this company!
